oscar1 0 Posted January 24, 2002 A Corsican landscape, taken with the Rolleiflex T and Fuji Provia 400F. What do you think about the composition and the colors? Thank you very much for your comments. Link to comment
nicholasprice 0 Posted January 24, 2002 A wonderful composition which works well in the square format. I have spent several holidays on Corsica, and this photograph has captured the island's dramatic and rugged coast perfectly. The colours and textures are wonderful. My only critisism is about the title - Isn't this a seascape? Link to comment
stephend 0 Posted January 24, 2002 Did you use a polariser? I think it would look better with more vivid colours. I'm not sure about the composition. Is the foreground too cluttered or lacking a subject? Link to comment
cdaught 0 Posted January 24, 2002 The composition is very well framed and it looks like a beautiful location. However, I would have liked to see brighter, more saturated colours and perhaps a bit higher contrast to make the image more dramatic. Link to comment
david yama 0 Posted January 24, 2002 I like the way the smaller rocks lead your eye to the larger ones. The photo looks a little hazy to me. It could be the scan? Or maybe sea spray? I would have liked a polarizer also. Link to comment
oscar1 0 Posted January 24, 2002 Thank you for your comments. I was trying to escape from the velvia-ish supersaturated colours. You are seeing the scan of an ilfordchrome of the original slide. The ilfordchrome is more vivid but my scan is a very cheap one (HP 3300C). Link to comment
