forrest_andrew 0 Posted April 24, 2006 taken last weekend out at Elk Island National Park. i was delighted when what had been a relatively cloudy and windy afternoon turned into a incredibly calm and clearing evening as dusk approached. i spent a couple hours skulking along this shoreline looking for compositions. this is one of my later shots. all thoughts, comments and critiques are greatly appreciated. thanks!! davidroossien 0 Posted July 6, 2006 Very nice Andrew. I like the patch of light blue in the reflection. All the elements fit together without feeling composed. Technically speaking that spot is lighter than the sky, which normally is a no-no, but I still like it! The reflection is so creamy! Link to comment
drfl 0 Posted July 11, 2006 A little detail is lost in the foreground, but that is to be expected with the clouds and sun positioned as such. I may have gone with a little longer lens and focused on the second rock on the lake to perhaps get a little more detail in the shot. A minor criticism, however, to be sure. Overall, a very nice shot. I look forward to seeing more. Link to comment
