hansendj 0 Posted May 16, 2006 I'm not sure when you posted this one, but I just noticed this and had to comment on it. I love the range of color and the dew drops make this eye catching. After looking more closely I'm intrigued by different parts of this photo...did you do something to the edges?...not the edges of the frame, but the edges of the flower, and mostly around the top left and the bottom right where the green is. I'm not good enough to know if that's something to do with processing, scanning, lens, or what, but it interested me. haha, tell me I'm not imagining something now... regardless...beautiful photo! hansendj 0 Posted May 16, 2006 okay, I think I get it...did you blur the background? I saw that you did that on some other photos and now it appears that's what you did here. maybe? Link to comment
waynesview 0 Posted May 16, 2006 I bumped up the saturation a few notches, then sharpened it up a healthy amount. The background is compliments of a Nikor 70-300 Zoom positioned about 3 feet away. The longer the focal length, the shorter the depth of field. Thanks, Daniel!Wayne Link to comment
