dennisbarnett 0 Posted April 20, 2006 John, this is well done. Nice sharp image. I would suggest leaving some space on the right to give it some "travelling room." Link to comment
derickafrica 0 Posted April 20, 2006 Great shot! I agree with Dennis on the cropping, but otherwise a really good job. Link to comment
kirt1 0 Posted April 20, 2006 I think sometimes folks don't realize how perfect your timing has to be to catch a ball on a bat like that. Personally, I love the tight crop. I always like it better if somehow you can see the hitter's face, but that doesn't always work out. Link to comment
john_stark 0 Posted April 20, 2006 I don't normally get very many comments so thank you! This was cropped the same way the newspaper here would have croppped it. I wish I had been at a different angle to also get the more of the batters face but that wasn't possible at that point. Thanks everyone for your comments! JS Link to comment
kctwain 0 Posted April 21, 2006 Nice timing, John. You can't get any better than that in my estimation. I like your clear focus and chosen DOF. Well done. Link to comment
Old_Timer 0 Posted April 21, 2006 Looks even better here than it did on PR John. Great timing and the exposure and focus are dead on. You should think about doing this for a living. Link to comment
