ell 0 Posted April 18, 2006 This awesome gothic-romanesque architecture was initiated by Odon, the half-brother of William the Conqueror in Bayeux, Normandy. It is now 929 years old. Thank you for stopping by to rate or comment. Link to comment
pandasunway 0 Posted April 18, 2006 I do like this work, beautifully presents this striking achitect. simple background emphasizes the detailed and sophiscated building, the colors are calm and the structure is clear. Link to comment
corbin 0 Posted May 19, 2006 Eileen, I see you were in Bayeux under typical Normandy skies. But sometimes, it really is sunny! Link to comment
ell 0 Posted May 20, 2006 Thank you all for the comments. Frank, the steeple was indeed cropped. Claude, you're definitely right about the occasional bright sunny and blue skies of Normandy. When that happens, Normandy is really one of the most beautiful regions in France. :) Link to comment
dennisbarnett 0 Posted December 2, 2006 Great detail, Eileen, nice capture under poor lighting. It brings back my memories of the beautiful building. http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=3539126 Link to comment
