I do like this work, beautifully presents this striking achitect. simple background emphasizes the detailed and sophiscated building, the colors are calm and the structure is clear.

Eileen, I see you were in Bayeux under typical Normandy skies. But sometimes, it really is sunny!

Thank you all for the comments. Frank, the steeple was indeed cropped. Claude, you're definitely right about the occasional bright sunny and blue skies of Normandy. When that happens, Normandy is really one of the most beautiful regions in France. :)
