pjmeade 12 Posted April 18, 2006 Hello Edgar, I continue to be impressed by your work. This image is spectacular, although I would love to see it as black and white. This colour makes my eyes scream. regards. Peter Link to comment
hiba_faisal 0 Posted April 18, 2006 I really like this image but agree with the comment above, not sure about the colour. I'd love to see it in black and white. Link to comment
hugo verboven 0 Posted April 18, 2006 Does a border make a picture? I don't agree. As for the colours, why this colour? I like it anyhow. Nice shot for an album cover, but maybe that's because of your signature. Hugo Link to comment
steve_lowther 0 Posted April 20, 2006 No, a border doesn't make a picture; it only enhances it. That is why museums and galleries do not display bare canvasses nor flush-mounted photographs. In a forum such as this, sometimes you will find the photograph displayed against stark white, sometimes against a medium shade of grey depending upon what page within the site it appears. A border takes out the variable while contributing to the impact of the image. Notice, too, the highest scoring images almost always have borders. Link to comment
edgarguzman 0 Posted April 21, 2006 Thanks for your critiques. See this border? Any suggestion? Link to comment
hugo verboven 0 Posted April 25, 2006 The quality of the picture itself doesn't change by choosing a border, but it's perception does and ttereby could make a picture stand out more. Thanks for the reply on my post. Hugo Link to comment
