I like the lamp a lot--you caught the glow while using fill flash to maintain the details on the metal bits. The tree in the background are very distracting, though--they detract from the subject. Would it have been possible to tilt the camera up a bit (or if you had crouched down) so the background would just be blue sky?

I think that the trees in the background give depth at the subjet.
