Making wine

Shot at Imperial Wine Museum at Hangzhou. Would like to be critiqued

about the angle chosen and the lighting (over which I didnt have

control).

I like it!! Even though you didn't have control over the light, it is nice! It is just a bit "blown out" on the right, but I still thinks it works well in balancing the darker left side, and giving depth to the image. Lots of various textures in the image are extremely interesting also. Very good shot. congrats...LJ

The heavy shadow on the face of the statue on the right and the blown out background detract. Did you try moving to the right and shooting over the shoulder of the figure on the right? It might have looked like you were IN the scene from that perspective.

Shooting from the shoulder of the right side figure was not possible since it was barricaded with rope, and also I would have missed the prominence of the right figure had I done it I guess.

I don't see how that figure benefits you much if you can't see most of it due to the direction of the light.

Atleast now you can see the right side figurine quite clearly and not just that. Anyways I should have tried it. Will check my archives if I've done that.
