lisicica 0 Posted April 18, 2006 Smashing! Color, perspective... I'm far from judging technique, I can say only that this photo has fascinated me. Link to comment
asr 0 Posted April 18, 2006 Beautiful perspective. I have a few from the same place, but different slightly subject matter. It's amazing how many photographs one can make at this place. Happy clicking, Ashutosh Link to comment
asr 0 Posted April 18, 2006 BTW, how would you rate your Sigma 10-20mm? I am wondering about buying a Canon EF-S 10-22 but also want to hear about other lenses in the same category. Thanks and regards, Ashutosh Link to comment
etan_lightstone 0 Posted April 19, 2006 Thanks for the comments! As far as the Sigma 10-20 goes... I'd rate this lens pretty highly. The sharpness isn't pin-sharp.. but good enough for large prints (12x18). There is some curvature distortion if I don't get the horizon exactly level... but at 10mm I suppose that's to be expected. The build quality and focus motor is superb (quiet and fast), and best of all it's a TON cheaper than the Canon EF-S. I wouldn't waste money on the EF-S if I were you. A good alternative is the Tokina 12-24 which is actually slightly sharper, but of course not as wide. Link to comment
