edroper 0 Posted January 24, 2002 Any fish that tries to establish a communication with me, does not get put on my table... Link to comment
kelly_perl 0 Posted January 24, 2002 I'm getting distracted by the rather nice line of fish on the left so it takes time for me to see the "greeter." There's probably some way to unify this composition. Link to comment
bob stewart jacksonville 0 Posted January 24, 2002 I think a simpler composition might have had more impact. I'd like to see the shot more concentrated on using the lines of the fish. Of course you could argue that would be a different photo (showing my interest in graphic elements) and completely miss the humor value of your shot Link to comment
brian_m2 0 Posted January 24, 2002 Is that the stand where the guy pulls the string and the fish jumps up at you? Link to comment
ben_nuccio 0 Posted January 24, 2002 This is an amazing shot of the fish. It has so much to do with our daily life, and I love the comment about the fish present. Link to comment
apps 0 Posted January 25, 2002 This is very funny! I laughed out loud when I saw this. Thanks for my first laugh of the day! Link to comment
thomadeus 1 Posted January 25, 2002 Yup. It's the fish stand at the Pike Place Market with the lunging monk fish and the flying salmon. Link to comment
brian_m2 0 Posted March 7, 2002 That's a great gag. We were in town 3 years ago for a conference and the vendor lunged the fish at my buddy, who screamed like a girl and leaped backward, almost knocking about 4 people over. I couldn't breathe. Link to comment
