david_howe 0 Posted January 23, 2002 My first nude and my first studio shoot so let me have your comments and ratings plz. I couldn't get the studio flash to sink so I did longer exposures instead. Link to comment
anson_jones 0 Posted January 23, 2002 I like the rich color. Just an opinion--lower camera angle, and out of focus backdrop. Might have to move model away from backdrop more. Link to comment
amypowers 0 Posted January 24, 2002 Well....for a first try, its not bad. I think, though, if you want a "glamour" look, I would second the above comment, change the angle and blur out the background. I'd also try a different pose, this one is pretty unforgiving to a woman's figure. Or else do heavier shadow to contour her body more strongly. Keep shooting... Link to comment
bob stewart jacksonville 0 Posted January 26, 2002 I agree witht he above two comments. also I think if you try to focus on a particular element of your model that stands out (not necessarily the obvious ones) you may have more interesting composition. For example this woman looks to have muscular hips and thighs. maybe explore that. Link to comment
squirrelman 0 Posted January 30, 2002 I recognize those nice saturated colors you get from the Dimage7. The model is certainly beautiful, but the lighting is not up to snuff (too dark and red/yellow shifted), and lighting is critical when you are trying to shoot a nude. I also think the blue background is too strong and distracts from the main subject. But you have a beautiful model and a great camera -- so keep on trying!!! Link to comment
