Noki curled up

myrjola

f/1.6, 1/30s, ISO 1600. Pretty much on the edge of handholdability. Slightly noisy, but even a DSLR can't work wonders when there just isn't much light.

This shot was pretty much on the edge of 20D/50mm f/1.4 low light

performance and the steadiness of my hands.

I'm pretty much available light/small DOF fan, so comments/improvement

suggestions are especially welcome regarding those points. But all

other comments will be welcome too.

You can clearly see the closest eye being in focus, so i think you've got a good result.

The framing looks great; what disturbs a bit are the light colors and the shadows .. Overall, a very good result for such an aperture for capturing the scene in the available light ( tried some my self too ).

It seems that I fell for the trap of looking at the photo in almost dark room while posting it; when viewed at daylight, it's clearly a bit bland and in need of some levels tweaking...
