pjmeade 12 Posted April 17, 2006 Hello Lee, this is a nice landscape and setting. Id does look like it's taking a bow. It's nice to see a tree without a browse line too. Regards. Pete Link to comment

arnulf 0 Posted April 17, 2006 Hi Lee. We don't see that many landscape shots from you, but when you post one, they're always somewhat special. As with this. It's really great. The colors are so great, they almost looked unreal. In fact, at first, I thought it must be some kind of model or something. (That may not necessarily be seen as a compliment, but right now it is.) Great job, as usual! Cheers. Arnulf Link to comment
barreto 0 Posted April 17, 2006 The ground so green with those yellow small flowers is beautiful, the sky is vigorous, but... that tree is wonderful. She was born in that green soil but, in its intimacy, the sky is the limit, oh that's a great limit... perhaps one limit very hard to reach! In that land everyone knows that the tree will not give up. For times she will fall, but other times will go up... this is the reason for its intricate aspect. Beautiful photo my friend. carsten_ranke 0 Posted April 17, 2006 A wonderful landscape, all works together: sky lines, the tree`s form, the foreground, with WIDE lens (I guess 10-22 EF-S). Even the high noon lighting is effective here. Looks as if the tree is a magic place. I would hang it on my wall Link to comment

leepix 0 Posted April 18, 2006 Thanks for the great responses - I am truly jazzed. BTW this was a 10-22mm lens. A good 'guess'. I have learned much during my short time with this community. I atribute much of my 'progress' to the talent here at Photo.net. Thanks to all. Cheers Lee Link to comment
Ray House 4,530 Posted April 18, 2006 Everything just comes together in this image. To me, this is one of those rare images that I can't find anything I would change. You nailed the technical elements, but you also captured the soul of this place. Well done! Link to comment
forrest_andrew 0 Posted April 19, 2006 a great and unique shot. everything here seems to revolve around the tree. the swirling clouds, the gentle curve of flowers and even the wide-angle influenced horizon seems to wrap around the tree. a tree with such power certainly deserves to take a bow :-) Great shot!
