David,

This image makes me think, as if she were a part of the wall and if so what does this mean? -

Perhaps life is an obscure complex and each of us a unit within it with some purpose completely alien to our current understandings.

A life where each of us is coexisting and depending on the other yet still isolated within the self.

In this image 'she' (The female ? giver of life) has her back turned as if to the world and her posture may indicate hesitation as if she were given a chance to see her life/fate before entering the wall/life and wouldn't most of us with that space beckoning like a hungry void!

I also agree on the way the lines separate and the contrasts blend it adds more impact and gives it a surreal feeling mixed with a twist of helplessness.

She struggles with an internal conflict to step outside the walls. To become more fluid with outsiders. One wall is higher to guard her, the other, allows others in, with difficulty ...a bit. Either way her self is exposed....partially.

David~ this effect you've applied does exaggerate the possibilities of this image. I like it very much.
