f1-fanatic 0 Posted April 17, 2006 Slow your shutter speed to no faster than 1/350(preferrably 1/250)an aircraft with frozen blades looks like an aircraft haning from a string or one that is in freefall. Link to comment
tedg 0 Posted April 17, 2006 I appreciate the speed tip. I was wondering what the magic speed for achieving rotor blur would turn out to be! Stay tuned! Link to comment
f1-fanatic 0 Posted April 17, 2006 I try to play with different shutter speeds to see what works best. My magic number is 1/125th, but it all depends on the availabile light, the speed of your lenses (aperture) as well as focal length and if you are using a monopod. Best advice is to experiment, but don't go over 1/350 or things start to freeze. Link to comment
