It is an unusual composition. It is a strong photo. I would say not because but despite the fact that the face of the boy is only partially visible. The destruction is still present everywhere. Many people have left the city. Still they have no clue how to dispose the debris and how to reconstruct the city, and where. Please have a look at my Pakistan earthquake pictures. Karl

IMHO it's a very classic composition, almost common, by today standards.

I must admit I'm a bit fed up with those cropped children faces, and think your job on the Phnom Penh dump was more original.
