This is what I would consider a good photo of the very common subject

that is the Reading Room at the British Museum. The light is a little

"over" but it is really hard to shoot the dark books plus the bright

windows with one shot.

I would like to know what everybody thinks of this photo in general,

but my main question is: would you take two photos and digitally

compose them? Would you digitally change this one? Or would you keep

it even if it doesn't have the "perfect" lighting?

Quite well done. I've photographed the same interior and it isn't easy. You can also "dodge and burn" areas in photoshop to lighten and darken as needed.
