As a native San Franciscan (an endangered species now that it's so expensive to live there) I'm very familiar with this spot overlooking the bay and Alcatraz. You better tell that young lady to watch out for runaway cable cars.

Hi Marco my friend . Nice capture but I think the exposure need a bit of correction . I liked Jacks remark about " watch out for runaway cable cars" :)

For your visit and comment. I saw the exposure needed some correction and I have done as much as I could with this one and these were the best results. I will play with it a bit more.

Thanks for your continued interest and suggestions.

Mother and daughter, while waiting for the cable car, were taking

photos of the Bay of San Francisco. I thought the composition had

some merit. Taken from Lombard Street looking at Alcatraz Island.

Your comments and critiques always welcome.

Might be overexposed but the effect gives it a feel of back to the past. Bring back nostalgic memories.

Hi, Marco! Sorry it has been a while since I have stopped by. This is a nice vision. I like the sepia tint. And you are right, the composition has much merit! ( : This seems to be sharpened some, which works well I think, except that the boots get a little lost. Not too big a deal, though.

Thank you for saying what I wanted . . . I think that is the photo's greatest ass.et!

San Francisco always seems to bring back a lot of memories for many of us. I am glad that you like it always good to see your comments, and Ben yes a perfect "Juxtaposition". I am glad that you stopped by.

Thank you.

I don't know whether it is a bit overexposed or if this IS the effect you wanted to achieve, Marco. I know I like the sepia contrasted with the harsh white.

The negative was a bit O exposed but then I adjusted the levels a bit and when I converted it to sepia I liked it as is. So you can say it is the result I wanted to achieve.

Thanks for your comment as always.

Definitely an eye-grabber! Clearly a woman with a confident attitude (though it might be Mel...lol!). Great street capture, Marco!
