madison01 0 Posted April 12, 2006 The second in the Dressing Up series. Some of the tones are a little burnt out but worth that for the expression alone. View large as always. Link to comment
michaelhills 0 Posted April 13, 2006 Yes, her expression is wonderfully cheeky and knowing... priceless really. You are right about some of the highlights, but I do not feel that it detracts from the image at all. Did you shoot RAW? If so, you might be able to claw some definition back in that region... By the way, Paul - your post processing treatment on this image is very effective indeed. Coupled with good use of a wide aperture results in a very appealling image. M :) Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted April 13, 2006 You are right, the expression makes this one a winner :) What a doll. Does the original image have the highlights blown, or did they blow out during processing. I think they could be rescued, even if you had to paint them in by hand. This one is worth the effort :) Nice capture! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 13, 2006 Those highlights should be blown out. Who cares, and why should you? Stop reading Digital Photo Today, or whatever - and study art/photo history. This is a great KidPic. Well lit w/ good gradation. The too cute little model doesn't hurt either! Link to comment
