Tom, I know you won't believe it, considering my first critique and the forum posts and all, but this looks just like my buddies and I way back when...

Andre, is it possible that you have a big chip on your shoulder? Some of your posts would suggest so.

The chip on my shoulder is only exceeded in size by my warped sense of humor Tom. The fact is, I can still relate to these guys, even if only in an ancient history sort of way. Truth is, these morons scare some people while I find them hilarious. Most of them will outgrow it in a few more years, one or two will commit suicide, one will die as a result of drunk driving.

 

Someday I will write a book entitled Anarchist to Republican in Three Easy Decades. I'll contact you to do the artwork for me. With my scathing satire and your rather good photos it will be a best seller and we will both retire as rich-ass scumbags. How about it?

See the attitude that these demonstrators are all just crackheads or extremists, is for me why the images feel slightly dramatised and staged, as though they are going through the motions. In the UK or France, anti-government demonstrations have the weight and support of the wider public, perhaps causing the images to have a wider significance than just depicting a load of crackheads damaging property. I agree thay probaly will "grow out of it", but that's the problem, why do you have to be 'extreme' to criticise or protest against the government? I've spent time in the french riots but also the infamous Bradford (North England) riots in which 2000 young asian men charged police continuously for 72 hours and it strikes me that alot of demonstrations in the US have become quite watered down.

I think these people are laughable. If they were in a fascist country they would be dead or in prison. Nice capture.
