Red White and Blue

The colours work great together with the blue sky. Pleasing shapes & angles too. Did you meter the white on the wheel? Just curious as the exposure is wonderful.

I like your composition and the tri-color (white, blue, red). There is a fourth color though; can you see the small black tire on the lower right corner? ;-) This tiny truck tire is what moves the whole wheel; amazing. Great photo.

Rene you took the time to analyze and see the little black wheel. I did notice the black wheel but it was not real important to me because at the time of naming the photo "Red White and Blue" I had a patriotic bent of mind (we all do in this country since 9/11) and not really thinking that it was totally comprised of only 3 colors. You pointed out another way to look at it and I now debate changing it. Thank You.

I like the color balance of this shot. Works very well. I like the cropping, just wish for a little more on the bottom. I am guessing that the bottom was full of carnie junk. Having only the three colors helps here. Nice shot.

I wish my shot looked as good on Navy Pier.

I stood under the wheel more with a 20mm lens.

The polarizer cause a darken corners.. ruined a good shot.

I should crop and post it..
