Flower and the blue sky

Took this on a scorching sunny day in Delhi. We hardly ever get

clear skies like this.

 

I used a low aperture and a flash to create this effect.

Very clever shot (as depicted by u) ... interesting too ... only suggestion to place the subject off-centre ...

Bodhisatva, beautiful, but I agree about off centering the flower.

Here is another picture I had taken where the flower was indeed off center.

The attached image works well ... like it ... very nice execution of ur gr8 idea ... only suggesting to remove the flare marks using PS ... regards ...

If you use "Bakkers Saddle" as a guide in cropping, I think the image would have more impact. You can find more about it on the web by doing a search on those two words.
