calm & peaceful, like the country itself!

I like the dark background and the contrasts on her face. And you've gotten close enough for the photo to be interesting. But a few things about composition, though: her fingers are sliced by the edge of the picture, and there are those pieces of drapes dangling off the top. Were these conscious decisions in framing the pic? Also, I don't know if it's a flash reflection on the plate (?) she's holding, but it unecessarily draws attention away from the subject's face, I think.
