Guest Guest Posted April 4, 2006 Refreshing because of the model. It makes me think of Goya. The sad look on her face also stirs interest and speculation, creating a voyeur like feel. I like the originality here. If the cloth had been more dramatically lit you would have a masterpiece. Link to comment

I can see that you put a lot of thought into the composition - the model's pose, the choice of the covering cloth and lighting - all beautifully done. How sad her expression; how modest her pose. What mystery lies behind those sad eyes. All reminiscent of a painting by an old master. I'm not much of a portrait man but this one is magnificent. Congratulations. Link to comment
