kellyphillips 0 Posted April 3, 2006 I know this is overdone, but it's original to me and I'm proud of it. What could make it better? Anyone? Link to comment
larry d. boswell 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Hey Kelly. Send this picture to Kenneth Fugate here at PN. Ask his opinion. He is a 'storm chaser' and has taken some awesome pictures of some wicked stuff. Bet he can walk you through it. See...we are here to help each other! By the way Kelly...It's a shit hot picture guy! I think the lightening, if closer would have really made this picture super. But, I wish it were mine! Not sure I would have the set (if you know what I mean) to get real close! Get a hold of Ken. He'll hook you up! Larry Link to comment
kellyphillips 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Thanks Larry, I've seen his work. He is great. I was actually late for work because of this. I stopped at the side of the road to take several 10 to 25 second exposures working with different settings hoping to get the right combination on the right bolt of lightning. I did not, but it was fun learning! Link to comment
larry d. boswell 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Well, well, well! Look who isn't getting 'good' ratings! Welcome to 5.0 Kelly! Your work "IS" good Kelly...Just keep putting it out there for everyone to see and comment on. It's a timing thing. Hang in there! Larry Link to comment
larry d. boswell 0 Posted April 5, 2006 I know what you mean! I woke up one morning after submitting a photo which I thought looked 'kinda' cool and it was #12 out of 2093!!! Stayed in the top 25 the whole time. Just keep putin' em' out there Kelly! Thanks for the email....anytime Kelly (I've felt your pain too)! Larry Link to comment
jasonwilliamsphotography 0 Posted June 29, 2006 Great tones/color, nice composition, the lightning looks like extensions on the tree branches! Link to comment
