agruendl 0 Posted April 3, 2006 This is the reflection of trees in water. Any comments welcome, thanks :-) Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted April 3, 2006 Alexandra, I always enjoy capturing and viewing this sort of image. What interests me is the fact that no two pics will be the same, even when taken in quick succession. This has beautiful complementary colours, and I like the way the details go from contrasty and sharp at the bottom to a softer effect toward the top. I do feel it's a little cramped at the sides and I wonder what you cropped off. Link to comment

covo18 0 Posted April 3, 2006 A great abstract image. A superb attempt at representing nature as transitory, changing and illusory by photographing the reflections of trees in disturbed water. Link to comment
agruendl 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Thanks/Grazie for your comments. Absolutely Hanna, I agree: the fascinating thing of taking a picture of reflections on water surfaces is that it changes from one moment to the other, it will never be the same. Regarding your impression that this one seems a bit cramped I agree too, but I had the feeling that the quadratic format would be more interesting than the classical photo format as there was only some more of the blue colours on the right. Kind regards, Alexandra Link to comment
