tom_beaudreau 0 Posted April 2, 2006 Hi Janis, I looked at your portfolio but couldn't find anything that looked like this, however, I loved the children! Can you put a link to it? Thanks Tom Link to comment
lightwriting by swapan 0 Posted April 2, 2006 ...thanks to both of you for liking the picture. Janice, I see a ? Tiger Swallowtail but no moth! You must have removed the picture(like me)! Biplab, are you in Kolkata ? If so, suggest me some places in WB and around Kolkata where I can shoot some landscape/macro/Orchids etc. Planning to be there in June for a few days. Please e-mail me at Dholai@hotmail.com if you have time. Thanks. Link to comment
josylvestre 0 Posted April 3, 2006 This is a male of Actias luna (Luna moth). The color is not usual for this species... Where in the world did you take the photo ?Nice color ! Beautiful photo ! Link to comment
lightwriting by swapan 0 Posted April 3, 2006 ...this was taken at one of the entrances of my workplace in Canton, Georgia. Luckily I had my gear in my car on that day as I planned to shoot some tulips after work at the front yard of the workplace. Almost missed it, sitting only about an inch above the ground ! As I said earlier, I had no clue though! Thanks for liking it. Link to comment
biplab sikdar 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Yes ... I am from Kolkata ... but I think that it will be hard to find out good situations (not locations) for photography due to monsoon ... anyway I have copied ur id and will send a detailed mail ... regards ... Link to comment
Parthasarathi 0 Posted April 4, 2006 You did an excellent job! Everything is natural in your picture, but you did the best composition and which is mind blowing. And in the world of digital manipulation your un-manipulated work is highly appreciable. Link to comment
