marinus_truxedon 0 Posted January 18, 2002 Beautiful shot, I'd like to know how the composite came together... Link to comment
dude steve 0 Posted January 18, 2002 One image is just the cliff, and the 2nd image is everything else. The full size version looks fine, but I'm starting to think the version I posted here is a bit dark. And the medium-sized version here seems to have lost quite a bit of light in the scaling. dennis jones 0 Posted January 18, 2002 Well done. Any tweaking on the sun's reflection? I agree on a little dark, but not much. Good work on this. Link to comment
dude steve 0 Posted January 18, 2002 Thanks for the comments, BTW! No, I didn't have to do any tweaking of the sun - the small aperture and the GNDFs did the trick. On a couple of compositions ("Pacific I" is one of them), I had to use two separate GNDFs (one angled over the sun, one straight) to bring the entire sun and sky region into range and completely eliminate blooming in the sun area. I don't recall if this was one of them but I think it was. Link to comment
simon james 0 Posted January 28, 2002 The lower right bluff is a wee bit dark. Otherwise, an interesting shot. Link to comment
