Ne m'en veut pas, tu ne vas pas aimer celle la non plus, mais... il faut parfois tatonner pour trouver son chemin!

I have seen the other picture and this one is better. This is actually an awesome portrait worthy of a photo book (and a good one!)

T'es bon, hein? That shot makes me jealous! Now that I'm stuck here in London photographing actors, my Leica M3 is itching me and I want to go out and do that kind of photos again... Perfect composition here (worth for a book, as rightly said by Simone above). Would it be my shot, I'd brighten his cheeks and hands a little, to match his forehead's tone. Otherwise, this is awesome!

PS - Do you live in France or here in London?

Ce type doit etre une "star" a sa facon, car j'ai deja vu son portrait ailleurs, et manifestement a la vue de ta galerie, ce n'est pas le meme auteur :) Le tien est tres reussi, mais je l'ai deja dis plus haut ?!

A first-rate street portrait, and excellent B&W technique. Great expression on his face, and the background is blurred to just the right degree -- we see much detail, but it doesn't compete with the man. Wonderful image.

My what a character, I can't imagine anyone wanting to kiss a pigeon, I like the label 'flying rat' that has been given elsewhere. I know this is candid, but eye contact would have made it amazing.

T'as raison, Paris est plus photogenique que Londres... When I was in Paris, I would take photos of everything and anything every single day. Now in London, I find it difficult to 'play', I find nothing around me that I want to photograph. I only come out if I've got a commission, which I agree is regrettable... Or maybe, now that I am a professional, I've become blasee...
