afs760bf 0 Posted March 28, 2006 Nicely done, Roger, and great color. The trees on the left, where they meet the sky, look a little over-sharpened on my monitor, as does the cloud formation in the center just above the trees, but a great image. Foreground is wonderful. markboyer 0 Posted March 28, 2006 Stunning. Overwhelming color, and I love the perspective. Link to comment

steve foster 0 Posted March 30, 2006 This is a great composition. But (and forgive me if i'm wrong) it does look very heavily photoshopped. I don't thik that the trees are oversharpened. I looks like the magic wand has missed these bits. Also within the trees where you can see the sky it is a different colour to the rest of the sky. Still nice though. PSed or not. However looking at the rest of the portfolio it probably isn't photoshopped so what are highlights with the trees?? Link to comment
dibyendu 0 Posted March 30, 2006 This is a great compisition and color...but I would like to have a look to the original RGB photo. I'm sure the color in that also would be more attractive 5/5. Regards Dibyendu Link to comment
billfoster 0 Posted March 31, 2006 I love the composition; the leaves blowing in the foreground are wonderful. I applaud the color scheme, which is quite different from the rest of your portfolio. I love your infrared work and I think it's among the best I've ever seen. But, this picture ultimately fails for me, mostly because of the different colored sky through the trees. It's not a matter of real versus fake or PS versus non-PS. It's simply a matter of being consistent. The different colored skys scream "quick selection in PS" and ruin the magic of an otherwise wonderful photo. Link to comment
kyle shortes 0 Posted April 4, 2006 How did you accomplish this? This is the kind of photography i want to do. Link to comment
fpessolano 0 Posted October 15, 2009 I like the composition, but I find the processing went a bit too far. Saturated color is a matter of taste (and I like them here). Sharpening (see the trees) is too much. I can see the halos. Link to comment
