paula grenside 0 Posted March 27, 2006 What a limpid reflection, Marco. Scrolling up and down to decide whether I'd prefer the feet cropped out. Have not decided yet. Link to comment
pjmeade 12 Posted March 27, 2006 It's a lovely shot with great colours. I like the idea that the passage of time and feet are going to disturb the perfect reflection. Nice work. Peter Link to comment
jabarbero 0 Posted March 27, 2006 Bienvenido de nuevo, y lo haces con un reflejo de lujo. Original como siempre. Un saludo Link to comment

cherlyn 1 Posted March 27, 2006 I won't want to crop off the feet as they joins to the reflection to be a complete part, I think. Well seen Marco. Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted March 27, 2006 As always for your coment. I debated myself with the crop of the feet or not and I felt as Cherlyn, leving it was part of the "Whole" and so I left it. Always a pleasure. Thanks. Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted March 27, 2006 Very interesting comment I had not thought about it but you are right, that moment will disappear. Thank you for your comment and interest. Link to comment

marco_ruggiero 0 Posted March 27, 2006 In as much as I debated quite a bit about the crop, as Paula. I felt in the end that the feet were an integral part. Thanks for your interest as always. Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted March 27, 2006 This was taken in Vancouver, Canada after a fall shower. The colors were so crisp and clear that I felt it created an interesting image. I am posting it on "Street" since it was taken in a street, but it could have been also posted as an abstract image. Your comments and critiques welcome. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 27, 2006 Marco, I like the way you have cropped the legs and I think it was a good idea to leave it as is. They are a hint of reality and its continuation in the water reflection. The colors and sky in the reflection are telling about what we can not see... very nice image. Pnina Link to comment
meli d 0 Posted March 27, 2006 From the clarity of the leaf in the lower left corner, to the trailing puddle at the top, the perspective here is so confounding, and entertaining, it is like a walk upside down, or right side up on a cloud! ('a walk in the clouds!') (or a projection of their fantasy that their heads were in the clouds!) The color, like the break in the clouds, is crystal clear, and the yellow is truly of cheerfulness. It is magical! I don't know why this photo reminds me of the singer Tracy Chapman! Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted March 27, 2006 Thanks for the comment and your visit. As I mentioned I felt tthe same as I was debating the cropping or not. As you I felt that it kept that touch of humanit and reality that I wanted to keep on this one, at least. Thanks again as always for your insight. Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted March 27, 2006 Wow all that for two feet walking in a puddle! Thanks for your visit and your comments. Link to comment

lucyhollis 2 Posted March 28, 2006 I like this crop, though I might have even left a bit more of the people, perhaps turned to black and white, with just the puddle full of colour. That is how I picture this scene anyway, wet roads and cold air being kind of grey, but with unexpected glimpses of colour lighting everything up. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted March 29, 2006 Marco, I like the way the reflected inage seems to blossom out of the mud at their feet. Glad to see you posting some pictures again. Regards, Jack Link to comment
