Pet portraiture? Good fun! Comments appreciated.

I would like to see about half the space on the right side of the image between the cat and the edge cropped. This is a very good portrait of a treasured pet, and I you would have better image impact with this simple crop. You may also want to consider brightening the highlight in the cat's left eye to about the same as its left eye.

I don't get enough comments like yours! It's a great way to learn. I really appreciate you taking the time to give suggestions, and am excited to try them out. I'll try some changes and post the results!
