razvan 0 Posted March 30, 2006 Foarte frumos modelul si fotografia, insa neexploatate la maxim :) Link to comment
Salutari! Alin Link to comment
Bafta! Link to comment
alinux33 0 Posted March 30, 2006 Mistery solved! Link to comment
dasharv 0 Posted March 31, 2006 I like this photo very much, it seems a little unreal and wax-face, but by this way it call more attention to the dress details which are beautiful! I have a fun to learn the other critics and didn't understand nothing:))) Next time, if this be possible, please write on one of other languidge, like english, spanish, portuguese, french, italian or russian:) Just kidding:) Like your work very much! Thank you for sharing! Link to comment
cyrus khamak 0 Posted April 1, 2006 My exact take on this as Daria. I think this is great Alin. The model does look like a manikin, a bit un real which makes it more interesting. You are doing so well on faces and I encourage you to do more. In this particular one, if you had the exposure on the dress, which is by the way very tuff as the dress is white, it would have been so much more effective. But don't let this be a negative. I have seen very professional photographer who fail to get the proper exposure in situation like this. The tonal range on the face and body came out REALLY nice. Best wishes. PS it would be nice to know what the discussion is all about between you and Razvan but I also ubderstand the language barrier and you can always express your thoughts better in your native language. alinux33 0 Posted April 3, 2006 ALEC: your two words means a lot for me! Thanks for stop by and for your appreciation! DARIA: :) Thank you for your interest on my photos and for your kind words wbout them. I saw in your portfolio, that you have the same camera like I have and that you've got addicted...same like me from the moment I got it (october last year). I do enjoy very much to take pictures, looking for something different every time. Too bad I don't have any previous experience until I got this camera. And I'll try next time to write in well know language: sancrit :))) just kidding! My best regards! CYRUS: Thank you very much for your very kind words and for your encouragement! They mean a lot for me, because your critiques and suggestions are my guidance for a better work (I hope). I have to say that there was a tough condition to shoot, I was struggling with proper shutter speeds with no flash and focusing quick to catch the best poses. The shot was taken in a fashion show for brides. About discussion between me and Razvan, it's about my amazement about his version, first of all , because it was very good, like in every suggestion that he makes and because in his version the model had elbows. I choosed to cut them in my first version, which apear to be a bad choice. He told me that he modelled them like in another shot taken by him (see the link above). Another thing that I ask him it was about the processing aplied and some issues about portrait technique, which I consider to be quite tough to avoid ordinary results. I will show you the first version of this photo, in which the model has the elbows cut off. My best regards, my friends!! :) Link to comment
