Absolutely love it. I like the wide angle and the B&W has great tonal range.

Paul, you have photographed a bucket but have you looked at the sky? A very familiar constellation is also nicely recorded there.

Thanks Dilip, yes I did thanks. I see by your below average rating you find something wrong with this shot. If you could comment what you find wrong I would appreciate it as I have learned more off this site from comments and not ratings. Too often there are PN'ers giving 3/3 with no explanation as to why which makes it a tad difficult to learn, besides, we are all her to improve, thx

Paul, I do not clearly understand. Have you asked the question of below average rating (3/3) to me? I have rated your photograph average (4/4). Please do not mind, in my opinion this is an average photograph. Please do not mis-understand me, look good photographs in PN and try for better shots. I wish you all the best.

Please allow me to insert my .02 cents. It's all a matter of opinion and I think Dilip has a right to exercise his opinion of this photo by rating it whatever he likes. Having said that, the 4/4 rating is the new 2/2 rating. Since photo.net does not count 1s and 2s anymore, the scale therefore has changed in my opinion. Yes, if you count 1 through 7, 4 would be in the middle but again, I think we have to look at a 3 through 7 scale now. 3 being the lowest and 7 the highest, therefore 4 is slightly above the lowest and slightly below average. The whole ratings system is a big fiasco now. I rarely rate photos anymore.

Paul, you are throwing up some very nice stuff today but this is really very good. The angle, crop and contrast are perfect IMO.

Thanks Kent, I really like this pic myself and have reposted it as i got a lot of 3/3 AND a lot of 7/7 before and wanted to verify you either loved or hated this one, lol! Your pics are VERY impressive BTW, excellent use of lines, shapes and composition!

the photo just feels strong. if that was something in mind, well done. the exposure and comp work well, along with the contrast. right on.
