i have a photo of an egrit very much like this one(i like yours better) the others in tne photo workshop i belong to tell me i should have included the whole beak of the bird, but i belive the eyes are the soul of the photo.

I agree with Joe, the beak may be necessary in some shots, but the beautiful green above the beak and the fabulous sharp focus on the eye are more than enough for this shot. It definitely grabs your attention! I love that you were able to control the lighting so as not to lose the detail in the soft white feathers. Nicely done.
