Contrasts under a stormy sky

Well seen and composed. It's a bit too contrasty for my taste (lol), but I like the idea very much. The many lines along the white house converging into the distance work very well as a counterpoint to the organic shapes and darker tones of the passersby. The symmetry between the tones in the sky and the land is very attractive. Great stuff. I might try keeping a bit more detail n the cobblestones in the middle ground and perhaps cloning out the tree beyond the umbrella. Also, something might be a bit off in the pants of the right-hand person -- part of the leg is brighter than the rest.

This is a classic image.

The Black and white works well here. The a contrast also adds to the picture. The moist stret, the clouds and not to mention the brolly all add to the composition.

 

But i would also like to see this image cropped a bit. May be a bit to the right reducing a little bit of the building and may be a little on the top.

 

there by making the image more compact.
