Roma, Vecchio e Nuovo

This is an eye-catching graphic composition. To me, thematically, the image doesn't quite hold together, perhaps because the old stone arch visually isn't that interesting and its significance isn't clear. But the geometry of the composition is quite fascinating. The building in the back is an excellent photographic subject. Indeed, the right half of this image alone could stand as a fine graphic shot.
