drybrain 0 Posted March 17, 2006 thanks for the comments, guys. this is a part of one of my favorite structures; Heihal ha-sefer (The Shrine of The Book) in Israel Museum, Jerusalem. i know the name is rather pompouse, but the building is unique, especially at night. it houses anciant scrolls and to keep the temperature down, i presume, they dose it with jets of water day and night. there is a more conventional view of it in the same folder on my page here. because of its shape it is frequently refered to (by numerous amateur freudians-not a rare commodity here) as The Big Tit.
