Haleh, another emotive image. I was wondering if the image would be better if you cropped under her chin. But you know having her chin and lips adds to it and keeps the emotion in. I like the right half kept dark as you've done.

Her lips are telling the story. Your suggestion would have given this image a different feel.

I have a hard time finding words to describe this, even in french. I can't find anything I would change here. It's not technical perfection that makes this (and most of your work) stand out, it's the emotional response you create. I love the way you take a shot which would have been lovely already and add atmosphere to it to give more strength to it.

I love this photo. At first I was a little bothered by the top of her lip being cropped, but the more I looked at this the less it bothered me. The pose is great, I love the full, expressive mouth, the chain and the heart, and those great fingernails. In fact, the combination of these elements impressed me so much I didn't even realise she wasn't wearing anything (or barely anything, anyway!). And as always, a wonderful finishing treatment to emphasize the mood.

Thanks for taking your time to actually spend a little time with this image. She is wearing something but it is very sheer (see through). I have done fair amount of fine art nudes but I am starting to think "almost nude" is always more facinating than just letting it all hang out.

Letting it all hang out! Love the phraseology. And by the way, not letting it all hang out allows for some mystery.

 

The market of "letting it all hang out" has been hot unfortunately! It provides attention but one has to question its significance in a long run.

Hasn't letting it all hang out been around for the long run anyway? Doesn't make it better, just a reality. Of course in some instances they work very well, and in others the more subtle approach is more artful.

I personally do not have a problem with nudity. I think it shows in my work but there was a time when nudes were done with care. They were considered to be classics. I am a firm believer that it could still be done.
