markdcb 0 Posted March 16, 2006 Another photo of my 'porcelaine skin' project. Please don't tell me it is overexposed; it isn't, the effect is created by pouring huge amounts of light onto the face with one single 1000W flash head with umbrella. With this effect the viewer is not distracted and focuses only on the expression. Exposure is F22/125 Please visit my portrait portfolio if you are interested in seeing more subjects with this light. henrikstellmann 0 Posted March 16, 2006 Too much light on the face for my opinion. I would prefer some structure and depth in the face instead of (or in addition to :-)) her shirt. Oh sorry, I just read this was intended. Anyway - shouldn't even procelain show some depth? Link to comment
markdcb 0 Posted March 16, 2006 Yes I tend to agree but the models keep asking me for this effect. Upon scanning the negative I still have some skin detail and I can adjust it, however most of the female models prefer it like this. In any event the adjustments are very small and depending on your (and my) monitor settings you might see some more or less of the skin details. Link to comment
