Standing on the roof of my shed in the rain, dancing to the sound of

rain on the tin...

How much and what type of PS is done here?

I should have taken the shot of you at the top of the shed ..."Get down from that roof, Sir!" LOL!

 

This was the most amazing sight, and I am constantly in awe of your ability to capture the light. I keep learning from you. Daily. In more ways than one.

Truly an awsome shot here Roger. I've never had success capturing rainbows, guess I'll just have to keep searching for that pot of gold. Wonderful job as usual.

Not much really...corrected in levels using each of the channels to help with the colour balance. Sponge around the rainbow to saturate it just a bit...Highlight and Shadows to bring out the light on the trees mostly...and just before last reduction of size (and the last of several Un-Sharp filterings) used Render>Lighting Effects>Omni to help light the center where the clouds were illuminated in the lower center, this was a bot over the top so I reduced the effect by going to Edit>Fade Lighting Effects and pulled it down to amost half...leaving just a touch of a boost. The rainbow was very bright and against dark clouds, so the image was bright to start with...may upload a few more...perhaps. Linda has one that the end is right on our street...must be a pot of Gold around here somewhere !~

still tried a contrast mask on it and darkend it again afterwards. anyway, I like your version maybe as much, but still interesting. by the by you seem to enjoy yourselves in Oz..

In truth, I have another one which I think may be better...and Hans, I like your version as well !
