sbrauchli 0 Posted March 16, 2006 I'd like a Tigerfish jumping 2.3 feet to the right with a minnow in it's mouth. You should see the reflection of the eagle perfectly and the talons should be slightly offset so as to show the pair :) I really do not understand how people can ask for this kind of stuff. This kind of shot is not very easy to shoot as one guy put it above (even with high-tech DSLR gear). Congratulations on a great capture - I like it as it is. Link to comment
billfoster 0 Posted March 16, 2006 Very easy? What the hell are people thinking? I can't even get a decent shot of a sitting bird with my "high tech digital gear." I spend a lot of time in the outdoors and I've never even SEEN an eagle this clearly, let alone shot it. Easy my ass. This is one quality shot. I could wish the front wing weren't clipped off (if you cropped this) but other than that, it's perfect. Link to comment
alvaro 0 Posted March 16, 2006 top banana 7/7! this is what I am after. the light seems complex and you managed to balance the whites perfectly Link to comment

thierrylaflamme 0 Posted March 17, 2006 Awesome work! It won't be easy to get a picture of an eagle as good as yours, Sincerely GREAT!!! 7/7 Link to comment
frl 0 Posted March 17, 2006 I especially like the way in which your picture draws attention to those sharp, scary talons. The emphasis makes the picture somewhat unsettling, which contributes to its impact. Thank you for sharing it. Link to comment
bradford 0 Posted March 17, 2006 Great! And really please people give this photographer credit and I think he should give himself credit. To make something look easy takes hard work! Planning, practice and preparation are key. Luck happens when hard work meets opportunity! Be sure and check out the portfolio of the above critiquer who said this was an "easy" shot. How does it compare? Link to comment
Maures 5 Posted March 18, 2006 Very impressive shot! You must be fit to hold that lens? Link to comment

louisb1 0 Posted February 4, 2007 Breathtaking. A shot like this is not only a beautiful thing but it also advances the understanding of flight and aerodynamics. It is fascinating to see how the bird is controlling its speed by extending its wing feathers and using is tail to control angle of attack. Just, magnificent. I am also incredibly impressed you can do this 'hand-held'. LouisB Link to comment
