INCREDIBLE! What detail and sharpness and what a great idea to find an interesting subject in everyday life. Very well done indeed.

Love the foreground and detail on a very mundane subject. I wish you had gone with a longer DOF than f8. The long screw in the back is very dominant due to it's length but falls out of the DOF. Would have liked that one sharp as well

A very good idea that proves simplicity can equal good photography. The age of the screws gives it a nice color pallet. If this was mine I might have called it "Screw You" :-)I have to agree with Ken I would have preferred a stronger DOF.

I like the DOF as is ... don't think having more DOF is artistic.

Very nice arrangement and light!

A very carefully thought-through photograph. Lighting's great from the side, yet only lights up the crucial parts of the image. Without the blackness in the background, it wouldn't be half as good.

All the shades of reds and browns cohere and the sharp rust detail in the foreground is sharp.

It's a very difficult to make moody still life shots of this type really work, but I think you've done it!
