mona_chrome 0 Posted March 16, 2006 What I think is great about this photo is that you really have two skies in one. A panoramic, eliminating the top half of the sky, would yield a bit more pastoral feeling photo, whereas here it is much more active. i like the use of the divider to show the crops versus the cattle, but do feel it is almost too cut in half. I think a more extreme angle on this feature coming out of the lower left corner would have created a bit more dynamics in the photo. but overall, very nice. Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted March 16, 2006 One of the best B&W landscape I have seen lately. You knew how to emphasize such a great sky with a minutely detailed landscape of fields that extend for ever.Fantastic!! Link to comment
johncomyn 0 Posted March 17, 2006 If you got rid of the frame(border) this would be a phenomenal shot! Link to comment
michael_draper 0 Posted March 18, 2006 What can I say that has not allready been said. Wow works really well in black and white. Is this going to Allans of Gillock? Link to comment
athross 0 Posted March 23, 2006 A wonderful shot of a beautiful Caithness Loch taken to the usual high standard of all of your work. Well done on the effect given by the sky and the texture of the final image. Link to comment
barreto 0 Posted March 26, 2006 Space... and I don't find a place to place a word! This is what happens when I see something like that, like... a piece of the paradise in earth. I'm speechless! Ok, the others already had said everything. Link to comment
bobby_ho 0 Posted February 19, 2011 So beautiful. I like the textures of the clouds and it is a creative use of sepia toning. (7) Link to comment
