Excellent catch! Look how they both are laughing. They're definitely having a good time. As for composition, I'd try tighter cropping on the right and maybe at the top to reduce distracting details around. Also, I know it's impossible, but it'd be really good if the other hand wasn't here. Nevertheless, the photo is a real stopper. Congrats.

I like the visual contrast between the two subjects. IMO the image could be cropped better (bring right side closer to back of child) and the general contrast could be worked on a bit. Interrestingly, I shot the same statue in 1991, click here to see the picture.

A priceless moment. A great eye for a great photo.

Love the contrasts - big and small, old and young, working and playing, etc. Therefore the choice of black and white and the great contrast you have there between the subjects (white stone/black clothes) is wonderful.
