Mmmm, Botanical Gardens!!!

 

Firstly, thanks for commenting on one of my photographs; thence did I come to know about your work. And I'm glad I did.

 

Secondly, this is impressive... a subtle and very well-thought composition, with splendid interplay of a variety of shades and excellent tones. I love the way you've composed it, and of course the way you've handled it. This brings the very meaning of photography to the forefront... studying and appreciating fine details about light! Beautifully done! Of course the subject matter is good, the erratic distribution of the leaves, the moisture, the still lake, the flowers,... they're wholesome and rich; I guess the poets in every individual would be elated by this. But that's not all... the artistry also lies in the harnessing of the natural light with precision and refinement. That's what, personally, I'm most impressed by.

 

Finally, you have a rich and delightful body of work. I'll have to return later to your work my friend... with more time in my hands. I don't want to spend a tiny slice of time behind your work.

Hey, thanks a lot for the kind words and am glad you liked the photo. I didn't have a polarizer then, guess it would've been good to get rid of some of the glare on the water surface.

I guess the glare on the water is not so bad, in particular, it's lending a good gradient which I like; perhaps more details on the flowers would be interesting to see.

 

Perhaps you would consider posting some more of your work?
