paulfisher 0 Posted January 13, 2002 I'm not sure about this one. Some who have seen it think it's obscene! Your comments and ratings gratefully accepted. Link to comment

chris_chedgzoy 0 Posted January 13, 2002 Its rude ! :) Not my cup of tea but still a great pic. I think if I had seen this I would have taken it also. Very funny Chris Link to comment
ladawna 0 Posted January 14, 2002 In response to your critique question Is it obscene? - Well, it is the reproductive part of a living thing! (But aren't most flower close ups?) Seriously: great color, I like the softness, good gentle mood overall. I think there are many who would put it on their wall (or somewhere) for both its beauty and its gentle humor. Great work! Added later: OK this is too much fun, here is a picture I posted recently in the same vein http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=495870 Link to comment
zackariah_cole 0 Posted January 14, 2002 I agree with the above comments. Although I don't find it obscene... I admit I did find it to have some simularity to part of the male reproductive system. :) I also love the softness and peaceful mood it offers. It's very beautiful and natural. Definately a wall hanger in my book. Link to comment
nomade 1 Posted January 14, 2002 May be we should talk about an allusive erotic shot, more than "obscene" -that sounds too hard. If you'd like to see its counterpart, go to: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=422008 Link to comment
yuriy y. vilin 0 Posted January 14, 2002 Wow! I thought flowers are strictly into bees... Link to comment
jodie coston 0 Posted January 14, 2002 Beautiful and soft colors and movement, with of course, an obvious phallic symbol. At first glance, I was actually reminded of this image: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo.tcl?photo_id=352680 I was surprised to see Nestor's reference to the photo of my mushrooms - when I started getting all the "vaginal" comments, I had to laugh. I got the same response from my "pistacho" image in the same folder. I guess there's no arguing that Freud was on the right track with how people's minds work. Link to comment
philmorris 0 Posted January 15, 2002 Adds another meaning to the technique known as "post-production manipulation." Link to comment
nomade 1 Posted January 16, 2002 To Jodie: I wonder who's mind is working how. That is: the photographer's one or the viewer's one? ;-)) Link to comment
nancy_anderson 0 Posted November 11, 2002 Yes. Its erotic and Art. Georgia O'keeffe did flowers and each person is open to interpretation. I think its a very sensual picture. Well done. Nancy Link to comment
larry_treverton 0 Posted August 6, 2003 I know what I like and I like this alot. It would be a hanger on my wall. Larry Link to comment
