I love the composition with the symmetry of the wall behind Jess emphasising the lighting across the scene. This is very well done.

like a renaissance painting

Very elegant. The background, with the two vertical lines, interacts perfectly with the model and her book. I'm wondering if the picture might be improved with the model moved up slightly. I don't mean cropping; everyone on PS seems to love to crop. I just mean if she had been placed higher in the composition to begin with. But maybe not: maybe that would have created an awkward situation with her legs in the lower right corner.
