kim_tural 0 Posted March 16, 2006 Hi James, I have come back to look at your other jumping horses. First of all I think the exposure is very good and you are very good at capturing action shots as well. I have never ventured there. In this shot I wish you had the darker horse's legs in the photo but a got a perfect pose for #10! Composition wise I thought it looked a little too crowded so I did a little cloning and finished with an adjustment in levels and sharpened it a tad. I hope you are OK with my meddling. Guest Guest Posted April 2, 2006 Kim has a point about the image being too crowded, BUT -- it's steeplechase! That's the very nature of it most the time, and as such it doesn't bother me. That being said, I like Kim's cloning too. I would adjust the levels as well, and get a bit more contrast - but wouldn't go as far in sharpening. This would benefit from a little sharpening though. Well done! I almost shudder at how close you may have been :) Link to comment
kim_tural 0 Posted April 2, 2006 I have to agree with Kathy and in this case I did go a little overboard on the sharpening. Geez ! You cant get away with anything here on PN! :-) Link to comment
