This is a picture of the "zaanse Schans" in the Netherlands. It was

in the night with fresh snow. the exposure time was 8 sec. What do

you think of this picure?

I think this is a very interesting photograph, it really caught my eye. I do wish it was submited in a larger frame size, it's to small, IMHO.

I too have often been fascinated by night shots and the technical difficulties surrounding them. This is a very nice attempt at a very difficult lighting situation. You obviously used a tripod, did you use mirror lockup and a remote cable?

What was the aperture setting?

 

As to framing, I would like to see what was on the left and right. To some degree the buildings in the far background seem to distract.
